Stylo Assist is built to work with your style, giving you multiple ways to create accurate, on-brand responses.
Whether you like to guide AI yourself, or let it take the lead, these four methods will help you move from customer questions to polished replies in record time.
1. Using an Input
When you type into the Input box, Stylo treats what you write as the primary source of truth for your reply.
We’ll still enrich your draft with knowledge base materials or other resources when it makes sense, but your input always comes first.
This method works best when you:
- Already know exactly what you want to say
- Need specific wording, tone, or structure
- Are handling sensitive or complex situations, where your own knowledge & phrasing is key
Tip:
- If you paste a link in the input box, Stylo can’t read its contents.
- Want the link included in the reply? Use something like:
Instruction: Include link https://example.com
- Want the link included in the reply? Use something like:
- Want Stylo to actually read the link? Use Add context instead.
2. Using “Add Context”
If you already know the exact knowledge base article or e-commerce order that answers the customer’s question, Add context is your fastest option. This tells Stylo to use that resource as the factual foundation for your reply.
You can also combine context with your own input to set the tone, add a greeting, or give instructions, such as:
Draft an email using the context provided, but keep the tone casual.
This method works best when you:
- Have a perfect-match KB article or order ready
- Want guaranteed accuracy from an approved resource
- Need to combine factual content with a specific instruction, style, or tone
Tip:
- When mixing input and context, keep your instructions short and direct.
- For example: Use context to answer the question and include a link to the pricing page.
- Overly long or complex instructions can make blending less precise.
- For example: Use context to answer the question and include a link to the pricing page.
3. Clicking “Write Reply” With No Context or Input
When you click Write reply without adding input or context, Stylo takes the initiative. It searches your KB and e-commerce orders to find the best match for the customer’s question.
This method works best when you:
- Don’t know the right article offhand
- Want a quick draft to review and edit
- Trust Stylo to find the most relevant content
Tip:
- Stylo automatically lists the sources it used in the draft. To check accuracy or understand why something was included, click See Reasoning.
- This helps you catch potential mismatches before sending.
4. Using a Workflow
At the bottom of the input box, you may see a Use Workflow menu. Workflows combine the structure of a macro with the flexibility of an AI-powered response. They can automatically translate into the customer’s language, follow predefined prompts, and apply conditional statements, all in one place.
This method works best when you:
Want consistency across similar types of replies
Need to apply conditional logic or structured instructions
Want responses translated automatically into the customer’s language
Tip:
To manually trigger a workflow, open the menu and select the workflow you’d like to use. Stylo will generate a tailored response based on that workflow’s rules.
5. Drafting From “Helpful Resources”
Inside the Helpful resources panel, you can draft directly from:
- A knowledge base article
- A macro
- An e-commerce order
This works much like the option to add context, but without the chance to add your own input. It’s the fastest route when the resource alone fully answers the question.
This method works best when you:
- Just need to personalize a macro greeting or closing
- Have a KB article that perfectly addresses the request
- Want the quickest possible turnaround
Tip:
- Use this method when speed matters most. With no extra input layered in, you can generate a clean, accurate draft in seconds.
